Must the deceased mother's prayers be made up, given that she was ill and unable to perform them except with difficulty? And will she be held accountable for her shortcoming in them? And what about the state of her conclusion and the recitation of the Qur'an for her after her death?

We ask Allah the Almighty to forgive your mother. She was granted a good ending as long as she uttered the declaration of monotheism at her death, for in the Hadith: "Whoever says 'There is no god but Allah' as their last words, Paradise becomes obligatory for them." Her good expectation of Allah is considered a sign of a good ending. As for praying on her behalf, it is unanimously impermissible to make up missed prayers for her, for prayer is not waived for the sick as long as they are conscious. As for reciting the entire Qur’an on her behalf, it is permissible for a Muslim to dedicate its reward to the deceased, and that will benefit her, Allah willing.
