What are the consequences for a woman who entered into a state of Ihram for Umrah from Medina, but was then unable to complete it and returned to her country?

A Muslim is obligated to complete the Hajj or Umrah (definition) after entering into the state of Ihram (definition) for them, even if they are voluntary. If the questioner is unable to complete the Umrah due to illness, lack of funds, or other legitimate impediments, she may exit the state of Ihram (tahallul) and must slaughter a sacrificial animal (hady), because she is considered to be in the ruling of one who is prevented from completing her pilgrimage (muhsarah).
