What is the authenticity of the Hadith that narrates the story of a Bedouin circumambulating the Kaaba and saying, "O Most Generous One," at the Kaaba's spout, with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, behind him repeating his words, and then the Bedouin threatening to complain about him to the Messenger? And is it permissible to transmit it to others?

This statement is not found in the hadith sources. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned that what people circulate about a specific supplication under the Mizab (water spout of the Kaaba) has no basis. It is not permissible to narrate a fabricated hadith while knowing it is fabricated, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever narrates a hadith from me, believing it to be false, is one of the two liars." This is a severe warning to anyone who narrates a hadith that he suspects to be false. The narrator must not narrate fabricated reports and false hadiths, for whoever does so is sinful and among the liars.
