The answer

It is established in the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah that Allah created seven heavens and seven earths, as Allah Almighty says: (It is Allah who created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them. The command descends among them so that you may know that Allah is over all things competent and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge) (At-Talaq/12). It is also stated in the noble Prophetic Hadith: "Whoever usurps a hand span of land unjustly, Allah will encircle him with it from seven earths on the Day of Resurrection." Scholars of exegesis and jurists, such as Ibn Kathir, Al-Sa'di, and Ibn 'Uthaymeen, have affirmed that there are seven earths, citing the noble verse and clarifying that the similarity between the heavens and the earths in the verse includes the number.
