What is the ruling on delaying procreation at the beginning of marriage so that the spouses can devote themselves to building their lives?

Allah has ordained marriage to achieve great benefits, including: protecting the chastity of both spouses, preserving the human race, fostering love and mercy between the spouses, and building righteous families. Therefore, we advise marriage in compliance with the command of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and choosing a religious, loving, and fertile spouse. We also advise against delaying childbearing due to work or seeking knowledge, for Allah has guaranteed the provision of children. The call for birth control is invalid and contrary to natural disposition and Islamic law, unless there is a pressing necessity that necessitates it.
