The answer

You are not permitted to take money from a client in exchange for approaching management to reduce the price, because this is part of your job as a sales representative. This is considered among the gifts given to workers, which are unlawful gains (suht), as narrated by Al-Bukhari that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said concerning the gift given to Ibn Al-Lutbiyyah: "Why did he not stay in the house of his father or the house of his mother to see if he would be given a gift or not?" Al-Hafiz mentioned that if a worker is given a gift due to the desire to exploit his position for a right, he is not allowed to keep what is given to him.
