What is the ruling on the prayer of someone who discovered after a month that he had been praying in his room facing the wrong direction of the Qibla, knowing that he resides in Makkah and travels to Jeddah on weekends, and prays most of his prayers in the mosque?

Facing the Qibla is a condition for the validity of prayer. A slight deviation or an error after diligent effort is excused. Prayers must be repeated if no investigation was made and attention was not paid to a change in direction, and the number of rak'ahs that fulfill the obligations must be estimated.
