Will Allah Almighty forgive a son for his disobedience to his deceased father, given that he had raised his hand against him without striking him? What is the way to show righteousness to him after his death? Will Allah punish the son for his action in this life, or will He let his own children be a torment to him? Will his righteousness towards his mother intercede for him? And is his success in life's affairs after guidance a sign of Allah's contentment or a deception from Him?

Praise be to Allah who has granted you success in repentance and rectitude. Therefore, be grateful for His blessings and have good faith in your Lord, for repentance erases what came before it, and one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin. Trust in Allah's forgiveness as long as your repentance is sincere. Continue to be dutiful to your mother, and honor your father after his death through supplication, seeking forgiveness for him, giving charity, and donating the reward of good deeds. You will not be punished for the sin as long as you have repented with sincere repentance, so acknowledge blessings with gratitude and obedience.
