Will I be held accountable in the afterlife for my inappropriate behavior towards my parents and others, knowing that my behavior has deteriorated in recent years due to difficult psychological and health circumstances, and that I memorize the Quran and am religiously committed?

This worldly life is a realm of trial, and patience in the face of calamities multiplies rewards and expiates sins. Disobeying one's parents is among the greatest major sins, and Allah may hasten the punishment of the disobedient in this world. Whoever wrongs someone through word or deed must repent and seek forgiveness, and seek absolution from the wronged party if possible. Everyone is subject to Allah's judgment, justice, and grace.
