Does a divorce pronounced by the husband twice in a moment of anger count as valid, and is the couple's marital intimacy after such a divorce permissible or forbidden, and is expiation necessary if it is forbidden?

Anger does not prevent the occurrence of divorce if the person pronounces it while being aware of what he is saying, unless the anger reaches a level that makes him lose consciousness and overwhelms his mind. If the divorce is effective, then it is permissible to have intercourse with the wife who has been given a revocable divorce before the expiry of her iddah (definition) (waiting period), and thereby a reconciliation occurs. She is still a wife to whom divorce, az-zihar (a pre-Islamic form of divorce), and al-ila' (vow of abstinence) apply, and it is permissible for her husband to have intercourse with her, to be in seclusion with her, and to travel with her.
