What is the way to overcome a constricted chest and continuous crying due to past injustice, and the constant feeling of unhappiness, despite attempts to forget and forgive?

Constriction of the chest, weeping, and a poor state of affairs often result from disobeying Allah and turning away from His remembrance, as confirmed by His Almighty saying: [Then whoever follows My guidance will not go astray and will not suffer. But whoever turns away from My remembrance – indeed, he will have a constricted life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind]. This might also happen to a believer as a trial or to elevate their ranks. Therefore, it is advised to repent, frequently remember Allah, recite the Qur'an, and increase in supererogatory acts of worship.
