Is the reward for reciting Surat Al-Ikhlas – one-third of the Qur’an – restricted to the night, or does it also include the daytime?

Surat al-Ikhlas is magnificent, and its recitation is equivalent to one-third of the Quran in reward. Authentic hadiths have been reported confirming this, such as the hadiths of Ubayy ibn Ka'b and Abu Hurayrah. These hadiths are absolute and do not restrict the recitation to a specific time, like night or day. What is mentioned in the Sahihayn, that it is recited at night to equate to one-third of the Quran, may be due to it being the common practice, as recitation and prayer are frequent at night.
