How can a student who intends to become a doctor make their intention in their worldly studies an act of pure worship to Allah in more ways than one, taking into account what may contradict Islamic law in some fields of knowledge? And will they be rewarded for their intention to help the needy with their knowledge and profession, and for their sleep and food if they intend thereby to strengthen themselves for seeking knowledge? And is it a condition to renew the intention daily in seeking knowledge? And how can they make their entire life for Allah?

We thank the questioner for their good intention and mention the possibility of cultivating good intentions in the study of medicine to make it an act of worship. These include:

- Fulfilling a communal obligation on behalf of Muslims, as the science of medicine is among the communal obligations (furood al-kifayat).

- Benefiting and serving Muslims and alleviating their suffering.

- Being a good role model who encourages people to adhere to the religion, demonstrating that commitment does not impede excellence.

If these intentions are cultivated, their studies become an act of worship, and their sleep and other permissible acts also become worship if they intend thereby to gain strength for acts of worship.

As for the Sharia violations in studying, it is necessary to clarify them to explain how to deal with them.
