What is the ruling on consuming the slaughtered animals of non-Muslim countries, where chickens are stunned before slaughter under the supervision of an Islamic center, knowing that the slaughtering machine may err and hit the head instead of the neck, but the blood flows and the chicken is exhausted?

Striking a chicken's head with the specialized cutting tool is not sufficient for a valid Islamic slaughter (dhakat شرعية). Instead, it is obligatory to sever three of the four vessels: the trachea (حلقوم), the esophagus (مريء), and the two jugular veins (الودجين). The European Council for Fatwa and Research has ruled against the permissibility of consuming poultry and beef due to the religious violations in the slaughter methods, which lead to the death of a large number of animals.
