The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, liked good omens, because they involve having a good opinion of Allah, which is something encouraged by the Sharia. What this woman did by taking a good omen is a commendable act, and she should continue in her hope and her good opinion of her Lord, and not be hasty, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Your supplications will be answered as long as you are not hasty, saying: 'I supplicated but I was not answered.'" She should not have been dissuaded from this good omen.
