Is it obligatory to break the fast, even with a date, before Maghrib prayer, and what is the ruling for one who prays Maghrib and then breaks their fast?

There is no harm in breaking the fast after the Maghrib prayer, and the Sunnah is to hasten breaking the fast before the prayer, following the example of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
