Is it permissible for a father to dispose of the reward granted to a female student by a Quran memorization school?
It is permissible for a poor or needy father to dispose of his child's wealth, whether the child is young or old, based on the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, the best of what a man eats is from his own earning, and his child is from his earning."
However, for the father to be permitted to dispose of his child's wealth, three conditions must be met: 1. The father must be poor, having no wealth or sufficient income. 2. The child must have wealth exceeding their needs and the expenses of their dependents. 3. The father must be an heir to his child.
As for the father disposing of his child's wealth for what he deems to be in the child's best interest, this falls under the father's responsibilities and does not require any conditions.
