Is it obligatory for someone suffering from recurrent, but not constant, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) gas to repeat ablution, considering the hardship this entails for performing prayers and acts of worship?

A person suffering from irregular flatulence (incontinence) must perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun, and pray as much as she wishes, and what exits from her does not harm her prayer. However, if the flatulence stops for a known period that is sufficient for purification and prayer, then she must wait for this time, then perform ablution and pray. If flatulence exits during the prayer, the prayer becomes invalid and must be repeated. One must be careful not to neglect prayer, or be lazy about it, or abandon the supererogatory prayers.
