Do the aforementioned symptoms of aversion to the husband and the emission of an odor, which a woman diagnosed as being due to sprinkled and burned sihr (black magic), necessitate the use of bitter apple, saffron, salt, and apple cider vinegar, upon which Quranic verses have been recited, for treatment?

It is permissible for a Muslim to perform ruqyah (definition) on themselves or to seek it from ruqat (exorcists) who are known for their sound belief and adherence to the Sunnah (definition). It is also permissible to bathe with water over which the Qur'an has been recited, and to sprinkle the house with it, along with the addition of pure substances. A Muslim should believe in the existence and effect of magic, but should not believe everyone who claims to be bewitched without evidence. The questioner is advised to maintain the regular remembrance of Allah (adhkar) and the prescribed ruqyahs, and to try performing ruqyah on themselves. They should also focus on the good qualities of their spouse and discuss marital rights and good cohabitation, with the husband being keen on cleanliness and pleasant scents. In addition to this, one should engage in acts of obedience and distance themselves from sins, pay attention to memorizing the Qur'an, and read books on encouragement and discouragement (of good and bad deeds) and stories of the Salaf.
