Is repeated repentance from the same sin accepted, and is the repetition of disobedience after vowing not to return to it considered a transgression against Allah?

True repentance is achieved by fulfilling certain conditions: abandoning the sin, feeling remorse, resolving not to return to it, and seeking forgiveness from the wronged party if the sin involved infringing upon their rights. Returning to a sin after repenting does not invalidate the previous repentance. In the Hadith (definition) Qudsi, it is narrated: "A servant committed a sin and said: 'O Allah, forgive me my sin...'" until the narration states: "Do whatever you wish, for I have forgiven you." One must beware of the repentance of wishes and delusion, which does not involve abandoning the sin or intending to return to it. Repentance from sins is obligatory, and the guilt increases when one breaks their covenant by returning to the sin.
