Is it permissible to eat bread that contains a percentage of alcohol?

Bread is not forbidden merely on the claim that it contains alcohol, as this could be an over-scrupulous and inaccurate assertion. Even if a proportion of alcohol were found, not all alcohol is intoxicating. And if it were assumed to be intoxicating, it most likely transforms and becomes pure, or its proportion is so negligible that it has no effect.
