What is the ruling on a Muslim woman who prays in a loose garment that covers her body except for her face and hands, and she fasts, gives charity, and loves good, but she does not adhere to the correct hijab, or she replaces it with a fashionable hijab, and she says, "I do not like the hijab," for reasons related to being influenced by celebrities, or being infatuated with Western civilization, or believing that the correct hijab does not suit her status or prevents her from enjoying her youth, or makes her a prisoner of outdated ideas, or she sees that progress must precede adherence to it, or she believes that Allah will not hold her accountable for not wearing it as long as she does not intend to tempt young men?

The woman who commits to prayer but does not wear the hijab has mixed a good deed with a bad one. Prayer and hijab are two intertwined obligations. Claims that the hijab is incompatible with one's scientific or social status, or with enjoying youth, are baseless nonsense, for the beauty of the soul is loftier and more precious. Prayer forbids indecency and evil, and if one's prayer does not restrain them, then its validity is questionable. Displaying one's adornments (tabarruj) is a temptation regardless of intention. The claim that material progress must precede adherence to the hijab is a false belief, for the hijab is the foundation of the nation's glory. The saying that hijab is a prison and that she is an advocate for equality is a grave danger; for equality does not mean transgressing the commands of Sharia. A Muslim will be resurrected with those they loved, so one should beware of those who have no religion. It is obligatory to advise the woman with gentleness and patience, for whoever guides someone to Allah through their hands has achieved a great triumph.
