Is it a religious obligation to carry out the orders of those older than us in age (father, paternal uncle, teacher)?

Obeying one's parents is obligatory in what is good and right, and the Lawgiver has commanded dutifulness towards them, counting their disobedience among the greatest major sins. As for the paternal uncle, his appreciation and respect are emphasized, as stated in the Hadith: "A man's paternal uncle is like his father's twin," so honoring him is like honoring one's father. Likewise, the appreciation and respect for a teacher are emphasized, especially if he is among the people of knowledge and the Qur'an, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, part of glorifying Allah is honoring an elderly Muslim, a carrier of the Qur'an who does not exceed its bounds nor abandon it, and an equitable ruler." And his saying: "He is not of us who does not revere our elders, nor show mercy to our young, nor acknowledge the right of our scholar."
