Is it necessary to inform those who use creams containing alcohol and touch the Mus'haf (copy of the Quran), and what about someone who has done so for years?

The fundamental principle regarding all things is permissibility and purity unless there is a reason that necessitates prohibition. Creams containing alcohol are not absolutely forbidden, and their ruling requires consideration and detail. If the intoxicating alcohol transformed during manufacturing into another non-intoxicating substance, or if its proportion is so small that its effect is not apparent, then it is permissible to use it. There is also a view that alcohol is not wine (khamr) because it is not an intoxicating drink. Therefore, not every product containing alcohol is considered forbidden or impure, and one should not object to those who do not believe in prohibition in matters of ijtihad (independent reasoning).
