What is the ruling of Sharia on a wife who refuses to speak to her husband for days and weeks, and is the husband entitled to marry a second wife in this case, and what are the rulings on a rebellious wife (nashiz)?

Marital disputes are natural and even occurred between the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and his wives. However, the estrangement between spouses should not exceed three nights.

An advice for the wife: She must fear Allah concerning her husband and obey him in what is good, for he is her paradise or her hell, and his right over her is immense.

An advice for the husband: He must treat his wife kindly, use wisdom in dealing with her, take the initiative to reconcile with her, and avoid contemplating divorce because it is the most hateful of permissible things to Allah.

If the husband finds himself financially and physically capable, and confident in his ability to be just, then there is no harm in him marrying another.
