What is the Sharia ruling regarding a wife who raises her voice at her husband, interferes in his affairs, mistreats his family, refuses reconciliation, and threatens divorce, and what should the husband do in such a situation?

This woman is considered disobedient (nashiz), and disobedience is a sin and a major transgression that warrants her deprivation of rights, such as financial support (nafaqa). Since the husband has patiently endured her for nine years and her character has not changed, and he strongly believes that she will not correct her behavior, especially with her parents' support, it is better for him to divorce her. It is mentioned in the noble Hadith (definition) that "Three supplicate to Allah, but their prayers are not answered: a man who had a bad-tempered wife and did not divorce her." This is because the continuation of marriage in this situation may turn into lasting corruption and harm.
