What is the ruling on prayer and reading the Qur'an for females after masturbating without directly touching the genitals? And does sexual arousal necessitate ghusl if something is discharged from the woman, and how is ghusl performed in this case?

The practice of masturbation is forbidden, even if done with a barrier. A ghusl (ritual bath) is obligatory after it if semen is discharged. It is not permissible to recite the Quran for one who has practiced it and discharged semen until after performing ghusl with the intention of removing the major impurity. For ghusl, it is sufficient to drench the entire body with water along with the intention. Sexual arousal necessitates ghusl on condition that semen is discharged, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Water is only from water." As for the discharge of madhy (pre-seminal fluid), it necessitates washing the private parts and whatever it has touched.
