What is the authenticity of the hadiths attributed to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, concerning the virtues of reciting Surat Al-Qadr, and what has been mentioned about its benefits for repelling Satan, preserving knowledge, healing the dead, being safe from the Great Terror, being absolved of sins, being protected from Satan, and fulfilling needs?

There is no evidence for the validity of the promises mentioned. Most scholars stated that the number of verses in Surat Al-Qadr is five. Specifying certain numbers for reading particular surahs to fulfill needs and gain forgiveness is not known through ijtihad (independent reasoning), but rather is derived from the texts of revelation. Muslims should adhere to what is established in the two revelations (Qur’an and Sunnah) and make them their source for encouraging good deeds.
