Is it permissible to invest money in charity with the intention of receiving a greater recompense from Allah, as in the case of giving a large sum in charity instead of investing it in a project or contributions, or giving charity monthly with the intention of facilitating marriage or buying a car? And does this fall under the action of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him?

The ruling on a person donating all of their wealth in charity varies depending on the circumstances of the donor. It is permissible if the person has strong faith in Allah, is patient in adversity, and has no dependents, or has dependents who are patient. Otherwise, it is disliked or rejected. The expectation of recompense from Allah should be out of trust in Him and hope for His bounty, not as a condition or a right. We advise those who wish to marry or acquire a car to save money for that purpose, as it is among the permissible means, and "the best charity is that which is given when one is self-sufficient."
