Is it permissible for a woman in her postpartum period (nifas) to enter the mosque for reasons other than prayer, such as attending a wedding?

A menstruating woman (Haa'id) or a woman in postnatal bleeding (Nufasaa') should not sit in a mosque designated for prayer to attend lessons, wedding celebrations, or to reside there during the period of their impediment. However, they may sit in an annex that is not designated for prayer.
