The answer

The one who commits a sin must hasten to repent, for Allah is more deserving of shyness (to be shy of transgressing against Him). It is a sign of weak faith to fear people more than Allah. It is not permissible to shame a sinner, especially if he has repented. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade gloating and seeking out the faults of Muslims. Estrangement between sinners is a consequence of sins, and they must repent from the sin and from the abandonment, because it is not permissible to abandon a Muslim for more than three days.
