What is the ruling on saying: "O Allah, make it food that we desire when eating"?

There is no harm in this supplication, for it is a request for something permissible, even though it is more virtuous to engage in the dhikr (remembrance of Allah) reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
