Why did Al-Munawi, in "Fayd al-Qadir," favor the opinion that a woman's ghusl (ritual bath) after using perfume is merely recommended?

The hadith (definition) from which one understands the command for a woman who has applied perfume to perform ghusl (definition) when going to the mosque is: "The prayer of a woman who has perfumed herself for this mosque will not be accepted until she returns and performs ghusl, like her ghusl from janabah (definition)." This hadith is weak.

Scholars have interpreted this ghusl as removing the traces of perfume from the body, not an actual ghusl from janabah, because the harm lies in the persistence of the perfume's scent.

The purpose of this hadith is to sternly warn and prohibit a woman who has applied perfume when going to the mosque, so that no fitnah (temptation) results from it.
