What are the whispers (waswas) that make me feel as though I am mocking or offending religious matters during prayer, reading the Quran, or discussing religious affairs, and that repeatedly push me to renew my Islam, and how do I deal with them?

We advise you to turn away from these whisperings and to repel them, and to dedicate yourself diligently to your worship. You should know that these whisperings do not harm you and do not expel you from Islam. You are not in need of renewing your Islam, for you are upon goodness as long as you strive against these whisperings.
