Is it permissible to give ten garments to a child protection center for distribution to ten needy individuals as an expiation for an oath, and is a pair of trousers considered a garment?

Donating clothes is one of the types of expiation for an oath where one has a choice. There is no objection to giving ten garments to charitable organizations or individuals to distribute to the poor, provided that a man's garment is a thobe suitable for prayer, and a woman's garment consists of a long dress (dir') and a head covering (khimar). Trousers alone are not sufficient according to the majority of scholars, in contrast to the Shafi'is who consider it permissible if it is considered a garment. As for the Hanafis, they permit giving trousers if their value reaches the value of the expiation. The more cautious approach is to give what is sufficient according to all scholars.
