What is the ruling on supplicating with the supplications mentioned in the morning, evening, and before sleep, knowing that some of them may be recited in specific places?

Devoting a specific supplication (du'a) to a time not specified for it is an innovation (bid'ah), such as arranging this remembrance (dhikr) among the morning and evening remembrances. Some of these supplications have been narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, but for times other than morning and evening, and some have no origin whatsoever. What is recommended is to stick to the supplications that are authentically transmitted.

The supplication: "O Allah, I entrust my soul to You..." (اللهم إني أستودعك نفسي و...) has not been authentically narrated with this wording except when traveling. It has not been narrated for sleep, nor for morning and evening.

And the supplication: "O Allah, I have fortified myself..." (اللهم إني حصنت نفسي ....) has no origin.

And the supplication: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from an hour of evil..." (اللهم إني أعوذ بك من ساعة السوء...) some of its wordings are authentic but not restricted to morning and evening, and the remaining supplications mentioned have no origin.

The presence of these supplications in some books or pages does not mean they are authentically transmitted and established. One can refer to the morning and evening remembrances in books such as: "Mukhtasar An-Nasihah" or "Hisn al-Muslim."
