Is it permissible for me to allow the entry of health-damaging cosmetic creams, knowing that the state permits the entry of other harmful substances for which customs duties are paid?

It is not permissible to allow the entry of health-damaging creams that are prohibited by the state, as this constitutes cooperation in sin and aggression, inflicting harm upon people, and disobeying the command of the ruler.

Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." (Al-Ma'idah: 2) The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There should be no harm nor reciprocating harm."

Allah Almighty also says: "O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you." (An-Nisa: 59).

Those in authority must not be lenient in allowing the entry of anything that is likely to be used for unlawful purposes, for the Imam's actions are tied to the public interest.
