Is it permissible to hold in gas after ablution and during prayer despite its frequent emission and having to repeat the prayer many times?

No prayer should be performed in the presence of food or when one is suppressing the two excretions (urine and feces), unless there is a fear of the prayer time expiring. Constant flatulence is considered سلس ( سلس الريح or perpetual emission of wind), and the person afflicted by it should perform ablution for each prayer when its time enters. What is emitted during prayer does not harm him, as a facilitation and to remove hardship.
