Where in the world did Allah send down our master Adam, peace be upon him?

Ibn Kathir mentioned in Al-Bidayah wa An-Nihayah several narrations regarding the place where Adam descended: From Ibn Abbas, it is reported that he descended in a land called Dahna, between Mecca and Taif. From Al-Hasan and Al-Suddi, it is reported that he descended in India. And from Ibn Umar, it is reported that he descended at Safa.
