Is a person's supplication that the recompense for his charity be solely in the Hereafter, and that he receive no recompense for it in this world, forbidden or a form of ill-manners towards Allah?

Allah has blessed His Muslim servants by guiding them to righteous deeds, and He has promised them reward in this world and the Hereafter. He Almighty said: (For those who do good in this world is good, and the home of the Hereafter is better. And excellent indeed is the home of the righteous) An-Nahl/ 30. He also promised those who do righteous deeds a good life in this world and a good reward in the Hereafter, as He said: (Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do) An-Nahl/ 97. The "good life" encompasses all aspects of comfort, as mentioned by Ibn Kathir. Allah has urged seeking forgiveness and repentance so that the servant may enjoy a good provision in this world, as He said: (And [saying], "Seek forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him, [that] He may let you enjoy a good provision for a specified term and give every doer of favor his favor") Hud/ 3. Ibn Al-Qayyim mentioned that Allah makes the righteous person happy with his righteousness in this world and the Hereafter. Allah Almighty also clarified that He has the reward of this world and the Hereafter for whoever desires it, saying: (Whoever desires the reward of this world - then with Allah is the reward of this world and the Hereafter) An-Nisa'/ 134. Ibn Kathir affirms that whoever asks Allah for the reward of this world and the Hereafter, He grants it to him and enriches him. Allah's bounty is vast upon His servants; He rewards them for their obedience with the good of this world and the Hereafter. Although it is legislated for the servant to seek his Lord's pleasure and the bliss of the Hereafter, he should not deprive himself of the good of this world. Rather, he should ask Allah for good in this world and the Hereafter. For Allah is Most Bountiful, and His treasures are inexhaustible, as stated in the Hadith Qudsi: (Spend, and I will spend on you). Allah has praised those who ask for good in this world and the Hereafter, unlike those who limit their request to this world only, saying: (And among the people is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world," and he will have no share in the Hereafter. But among them is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world good and in the Hereafter good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire") Al-Baqarah/200-201. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to frequently supplicate with this comprehensive prayer for the good of both worlds: (O our Lord, grant us in this world good and in the Hereafter good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire).
