What is the ruling on eating frozen meats imported from abroad?

It is permissible to eat the meat of animals slaughtered by disbelievers under certain conditions: that the slaughterer be from the People of the Book (Jews or Christians), based on the Almighty's saying: ﴿And the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you﴾. And that he has not invoked anything other than Allah over the slaughtered animal, such as the Messiah or Uzair, based on the Almighty's saying: ﴿Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah﴾. And that the slaughter is performed according to the prescribed Islamic method, which is cutting the two jugular veins and the windpipe for cattle, sheep, and birds, and camel slaughter (nahr) for camels. If meat is imported from countries of the People of the Book, and it is not strongly presumed that it was slaughtered by unlawful methods, then it is permissible to eat it. However, it is more cautious for a Muslim not to eat imported meat unless it does not require ritual slaughter, such as fish.
