Was Iblis expelled from Paradise only because of his arrogance and pride in refusing to prostrate himself, disobeying the divine command, and out of envy, or are there other reasons mentioned in Surat Al-An'am, and what is the proof for that?

Allah expelled Iblis from His mercy due to his disobedience of His command and his arrogance in refusing to prostrate to Adam, as he said: "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." Iblis saw fire as superior to clay, but fire contains impulsiveness and recklessness, whereas clay is characterized by stillness and benefit. It is not for Iblis to prefer one of Allah's creations over another. The reason for Iblis's expulsion is not mentioned in Surat Al-An'am.
