Is a mother's prayer against her son, who has his own home and family, answered, given her anger over matters concerning his home and family, even though he is not remiss in his duties toward her?

A Muslim must treat their parents kindly, especially the mother, as Allah Almighty says: "And We have enjoined upon man [to be good] to his parents. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months." And the Hadith: "Your mother, then your mother, then your mother, then your father." Righteousness is conditioned by what is good and lawful. So, whoever fulfills their mother's rights according to the Sharia need not fear her supplication against them if her demand is beyond their capacity or contrary to the Sharia.
