Is a woman's fast valid if she purified from menstruation and intended to fast and fasted for two days without performing ghusl due to extenuating circumstances?

If menstrual bleeding stops a moment before dawn, the woman must abstain [from eating and drinking] and fast that day. Her fast is valid even if she does not perform ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) until after dawn, provided she intended to fast during the night. Ghusl from menstruation or janabah (definition) (major ritual impurity) is not a condition for the validity of the fast. However, neglecting ghusl for two consecutive days without a valid Shar'i excuse is a grave sin that necessitates repentance and making up the missed prayers.
