Is it permissible to rescue an injured dog and shelter it temporarily with the intention of selling it later, and is prayer valid in this situation?

A doer of good who removes harm from a dog will be rewarded. It is desirable to show kindness to a dog by providing food and treatment, as this is among the noble Islamic ethics. It is not permissible to bring a dog into the house, nor is it correct to keep a dog except out of necessity, and it is not permissible to sell it. Prayer is permissible as long as the body or garment is not defiled, and touching a dog is permissible when there needed.
