Has Surat An-Nisa, Ayah 69, sanctioned the Sufi people?

The noble verse (An-Nisa 4:69) indicates that whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger will be with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous in the abode of His generosity. Ibn Kathir explained that obedience means acting upon the command of Allah and His Messenger and refraining from what they have forbidden. He also mentioned that when Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was ill, he was given a choice between this world and the Hereafter, and he chose the companionship mentioned in the verse. The hadiths indicated that "a person will be with whom he loves," and that loving the righteous may be a reason for being resurrected with them, even if one falls short in their deeds. The verse does not provide any justification for the Sufis in their practices that contradict Islamic law, such as claiming that saints know the unseen, circumambulating graves and seeking help from other than Allah, or asserting that Allah inspires them with what adds to the Qur'an and Sunnah, or that their elite are not bound by Sharia, or their innovation of non-reported dhikrs. Rather, these practices place them with devils and polytheists.
