Are the hadiths mentioned concerning the virtues of the surahs of the Holy Quran, such as: "Ten prevent ten..." and the virtue of Surat Al-Kahf, Yasin, Ad-Dukhan, Ar-Rahman, Al-Waqi'ah, Al-Mulk, Al-Falaq and An-Nas, and As-Sajdah, authentic?

The hadith "Ten things prevent ten things" has no basis and cannot be attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. It is a fabricated, forged hadith. A number of scholars, such as Ibn al-Qayyim, Umar ibn Badr al-Mawsili, al-Suyuti, and Sheikh Bakr Abu Zayd, have stated that many hadiths concerning the virtues of surahs are fabricated, and that few of them are authentic. Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned the authentic hadiths that have been narrated regarding the virtues of certain surahs and verses, such as: Al-Fatihah, Al-Baqarah and Al Imran, Ayat al-Kursi, the last two verses of Surat al-Baqarah, the first ten verses of Surat al-Kahf, Surat al-Ikhlas, and Al-Mu'awwidhatayn, and some other hadiths which are less authentic. As for the hadiths narrated concerning the virtue of each surah of the Qur'an, they are fabricated and forged, and are not authentic.
