However, if the discharge is large and excessive, then Al-Khiraqi's statement implies that the ghusl should be repeated if it occurred before the completion of the seven (layers of shroud), because a large amount becomes excessive. However, Ahmad's companions disagreed with him, narrating from him: The ghusl is not repeated under any circumstances.
