What is the ruling on working in a shop that sells sports supplies and equipment for martial arts, including gloves, sticks, and wooden swords that are used for striking the face in some sports?

In Sharia (definition), means are judged by their ends. So, if sports equipment is specific to a forbidden sport, like boxing, it is not permissible to sell it. However, if it is used for a permissible sport, like karate, or if it can be used for both lawful and unlawful purposes, there is no objection to working with it and selling it to someone who does not know or is not predominantly thought to use it for forbidden purposes. This is based on the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression."
