It introduces the servant to the divine and Lordly attributes. Whatever comes to mind regarding His names and attributes that are affirmed in the Qur’an and is true and obligatory to believe. However, whatever comes to mind in terms of anthropomorphism (tashbeeh), similitude (tamtheel), or modality (takyeef) is false and must be refrained from, for "There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing."
